Banca d'Italia
Italian central bank and prudential supervisor with MiCAR responsibilities shared with CONSOB

Banca d'Italia is Italy's central bank and a member of the Eurosystem. It supervises banks, financial intermediaries, electronic-money institutions, and payment institutions and has defined MiCAR prudential and market-access responsibilities shared with CONSOB. It is not the ECB, and its CASP responsibilities depend on the entity and crypto-asset service involved.
