Users can create a virtual card or order a physical one and select USD, USDC, or supported crypto as the funding balance. Non-dollar crypto is sold into US dollars before purchases or ATM withdrawals, so spending can create spread and tax consequences even though Coinbase publishes no separate transaction fee.
