Law 66/2020, in force from 1 September 2020, regulates licensing, supervision, and issuance, trading, and custody activities involving digital tokens or virtual currencies. AFSA explains that virtual-asset trading entities must undergo licensing and says in its current FAQ that it has not licensed or authorised any entity for trading activity. Do not present named exchanges as available until they appear in the current official register.
