The Fold Bitcoin Credit Card is a Celtic Bank-issued US-dollar credit product serviced through Fold. It earns an unlimited 1.5% base rate in bitcoin, with conditional boosts up to 4% on the first $2,000 of eligible monthly spend. It does not authorize purchases against bitcoin: if a user pays the statement with bitcoin, Fold sells the asset and applies the US-dollar proceeds, potentially creating a taxable disposition.
