Composite indicator
A single 0-100 number summarizing crypto market temperature: sentiment, momentum, breadth, capital, and leverage in one reading. It measures how much risk is in the system, not where price is headed.
Each component is normalized to 0-100 and averaged with the weight shown. If a source fails it is dropped and the remaining weights rebalance; below three live sources no number is published.
| Component | Source | Weight | Reading | Subscore |

| BTC momentumScaled between -20% and +20%, the range covering almost any BTC week. | BTC 7-day change | — | no data | — |
| BreadthShare of assets with a positive 7-day change. Separates a broad rally from a narrow one. | Top 100 by market cap | — | no data | — |
| CapitalScaled between -6% and +6%. Measures whether new capital enters or existing capital rotates. | Total market cap, 24 hours | — | no data | — |
| LeverageScaled between -20% and +60%. High funding means crowded longs, not strength. | Annualized funding, BTC/ETH/SOL | — | no data | — |
Capitulation. Sentiment at lows, few assets rising, and leverage already flushed out.
Quiet market. Low risk of cascading liquidations, but no demand sustaining rallies.
No dominant extreme. The regime gives no edge by itself; decide on structure, not temperature.
Rising risk. The move is real but starts depending on leveraged positioning.
Saturated market. Historically the point where a fast correction does the most damage.
