The current user guide says USDC is the trading collateral. Its perp API docs describe non-USDC cross-margin updates as testnet-only.
SoDEX documentation says deposits may be held in segregated accounts by external institutional custodians, with assets represented 1:1 on ValueChain. Its marketing page also describes native on-chain custody, so the custody model is presented here as mixed and should be checked against the exact funding route.
