Central bank for the euro area. Its Appia roadmap targets a European ecosystem for tokenised wholesale finance with settlement in central-bank money, building on earlier exploratory DLT work. This is market infrastructure policy and development, not an ECB-issued retail crypto token, an endorsement of privately issued assets, or a substitute for MiCA firm authorisation.
