Takenos' Argentina prepaid Mastercard: no fee on ARS purchases, with conflicting official guidance on overseas ATM use.

The current SpicyCard terms say cash withdrawals are allowed only in Argentina and that fees appear in-app. A July 2026 help article says international ATM withdrawals are supported up to USD 1,000, while the published local cap is USD 500. The directory flags the conflict and does not treat overseas ATM access as confirmed; Takenos should confirm the live rule before a customer relies on it.

Current terms: Mastercard prepaid card, virtual and physical formats, applicants over 18 with a validated Takenos account, Pomelo Fintech Services S.A.S. as issuer, ARS settlement, foreign-currency or crypto conversion at the Banco Nacion Argentina seller rate plus additional costs and possible taxes, and ATM withdrawals only in Argentina with fees disclosed in-app. Terms permit Mastercard merchant use worldwide, although Takenos recommends the card for domestic Argentine-peso spending.

Takenos says both cards currently debit the international USD balance for purchases in any currency; local balance use is a limited Bolivia beta. The card terms separately describe conversion of selected crypto to ARS, so check the actual route in the app.
