Compare only local claims with an official source and current review
No official adoption metric is available for both countries. Legacy estimates, where available, appear below as context only.
Estimated context (not comparable)
Blue and est. indicate a legacy estimate without a verifiable official source. It never creates a winner, bar, or ranking.
Current Banque du Liban circulars define virtual assets and prohibit banks and financial institutions from issuing, dealing in, or facilitating them unless BdL regulations authorise it. The same restriction appears for licensed electronic-payment providers. This does not establish that a foreign platform, P2P arrangement, or familiar brand is locally authorised, nor does it alone decide the status of every individual holding. Verify the current scope with Banque du Liban and local advice before acting.

VARA maintains a public register of virtual-asset providers authorised for Dubai, with licensed activities and status. Its remit excludes the Dubai International Financial Centre. ADGM regulates virtual-asset activities under its own framework; do not extrapolate a licence across jurisdictions.

Review date for each country guide
We show only regulatory and tax claims with local primary guidance and a current review. Adoption metrics require a national source for each figure.
Each visible claim links to its official country source. Adoption links are assigned to the exact metric, not the entire profile.
Each guide shows its next review date. Always confirm your residence, activity, and transaction with the authority or a local professional before filing.
