Estimated context (not comparable)
Blue and est. indicate a legacy estimate without a verifiable official source. It never creates a winner, bar, or ranking.
The Central Bank of Kuwait's July 2023 circular strictly prohibits using virtual assets as a payment instrument, recognising them as decentralised currency, or dealing with them as an investment. It also says no licence will be granted to provide virtual-asset services as commercial work, no licences had been issued previously, and all virtual-asset and currency mining is prohibited. The 2021 statement also says crypto-assets are not regulated or supervised by an authority in Kuwait. These materials do not authorise platforms or cross-border services: confirm directly with the CBK and local advice before acting.

Review date for each country guide
We show only regulatory and tax claims with local primary guidance and a current review. Adoption metrics require a national source for each figure.
Each visible claim links to its official country source. Adoption links are assigned to the exact metric, not the entire profile.
Each guide shows its next review date. Always confirm your residence, activity, and transaction with the authority or a local professional before filing.

We do not infer rankings. A value appears only when the exact figure has a linked official national source.
